APPGIF Hosts Leading Global Scholar

The APPGIF co-hosted a seminar entitled “Islamic Finance and its Importance in the 21st Century” in the House of Lords on 9th July 2018.

The event, delivered in partnership with Toaha Qureshi MBE, Chairman of the Forum for International Relations Development, included a keynote address from guest speaker Justice (R) Mufti Taqi Usmani, one of the world’s leading Islamic scholars.

Lord Sheikh delivered a welcome on behalf of the APPGIF at the event that proved to be extremely popular.
